In the first half of 2025, the Smart Logistics sector witnessed a megadeal as US-based, AI-driven supply chain software specialist e2open was purchased for $2.1B in May by Australian logistics behemoth WiseTech Global, boosting its product suite and addressable market.

In Brazil, Buskar, a developer of a logistical platform for pre-owned vehicles management, was acquired for $2.7M by logistics, transportation and warehousing company Tegma, strengthening operations through complementary vehicle transport services. 

Germany-based intelligent yard and transport management solutions provider star/trac was pocketed by global acquirer Banyan Software to bolster its presence in Germany and the supply chain management arena. 

Solid WMS, a Dutch provider of cloud-based warehouse management systems, was wrapped up by Swedish peer company Consafe Logistics to serve a broader range of warehouses and distribution centers.

Spanish logistics software startup Vonzu was snapped up by Argentinian technology company Moova to enrich its commercial offerings with the last-mile delivery solutions and enter the European market.
